This lidded jar was fired in a salt and soda kiln.
Accented with a little bird as lid knob.
Finished in a rutile blue glaze with splashes of titanium dioxide that turned a beautiful green in the firing.
There's a slight bloating on the lid. Nevertheless the effect from the salt on the surface is lovely.
